Summary: I'm really rather sick of first person shooter games. They are a dime a dozen and with all the Medal of Honor and Call of Duty games out there do we really need another? If you really want a cutting edge FPS with the 007 brand name then go for Goldeneye 007 - Collector's Edition (Wii) . Rogue Agent is just a quick cash-in product. There is a bit of a twist though.
Excerpt: GoldenEye Rogue Agent is a first person shooter. Rogue Agent seemed to me as a basic shooting game when I first got it but as you play through it you get a feel for it and can have some fun. This game features many characters from other 007 movies such as Dr.No and Auric Goldfinger. In the game you have the option to use two guns at once and you have a goldeneye that has up to four different powers that you earn as you progress through the game.
Excerpt: This game is a break through for the James Bond 007 creators. This game is fantasitc. First of all it has a brilant story line. (You were a Mi6 agent working with 007, you were on a mission, but you were shot down and everyone died but you. You were captured and you were turned evil (to put it in basic terms). You were inplanted with a chip which allows you to do different thing with your eye (hence the name Golden EYE).
Pros: you have have two guns at once, never seen on a 007 game before
Cons: Multiplayer is a bit of a let down, it also needs a few more levels
Summary: For me, Goldneye: Rouge Agent has a dual personality when it comes to the enjoyment you'd gain from purchasing it. On the one hand, the story mode is repetetive and your tasks are almost always the same. The option of having different guns in both of your characters hands and the different affects your mechanical eye has, are enjoyable for about 10 minutes. You quickly realize that every level involves dozens upon dozens of enemies coming at you at once.
Summary: this game is ok...the good points are the large arsenal of weapons you can get your trigger happy little mits on the 'goldeneye' upgrade is good also and is something different the landscapes are exelently designed also (especially the hover dam mission)... the duel weapon system is also a good feature which any fps fan will love, there is also a voice over from christopher lee which is good to see.
Excerpt: . Intro Well James Bond is back again or... may be not you are a former MI6 agent. You play GoldenEye who works for Auric Goldfinger, who is at war with the infamous Dr. No. GoldenEye also has a chip on hid shoulder in this in this little war, as it was No who stole his original eye. Enhanced with a cybernetic golden eye implant from Goldfinger, GoldenEye sets out reek some havoc on some poor unsuspecting souls. Single player mode.
Pros: Cool concept
Cons: No online play mode, laggy control, shameful , multiplayer
Summary: i thought that this game was good in some ways and bad in other ways for example, the graphics of explosions are brilliant and u beign able to be bad for once in a game but it onlyn took me 4 hours to complete on the hardest setting, but it is great fun to play all the less //(great when bond dies)// the bad side is the time it takes to complete it and that u can re heal which makes it far to easy to win but then u do need it for the shere amount of enermies u face.
Summary: When I heard that this game would soon be appearing for my Gamecube, (and PS2 and X-Box of course) my eyes lit up and I had many flashbacks of spending hours, even days, on my N64 playing the original Goldeneye to death. After purchase of Goldeneye: Rogue Agent, I rushed home to play it. As I started up the game, I think my jaw almost hit the floor.
Summary: Ok, it may not be a sequel to RARES PERFECT N64 Goldeneye 007 but this is one of the best EA James Bond games and typical you end up being the bad guy though! But please try it, it is good, but, when you get to the controls, change it to classic setting, thats much better!!! Believe me! Oh 4 player is fab!!
