Excerpt: Destroy all Monsters Melee is the newest Godzilla game in a long line of games based off of Toho’s nearly 50 year old movie star. It is a game that tries to take the best things about Toho monster movies: the monsters and their epic battles; and make a fighting game out of it. Destroy all Monsters Melee succeeds in some areas, while failing miserably in others. That said, it’s still the best Godzilla game to be released in a while; but that isn’t saying all that much.
Summary: Legendary monsters battle among earth’s cities to determine the planet’s fate. Attempting worldwide domination, aliens have gained control over Godzilla’s longtime rivals - the kaiju must be defeated. Participate in a spectacle like no other by combating the greatest beasts on a colossal scale, as the world’s future hangs in the balance.

aspects of this title here.
Summary: It doesn't take long to get to grips with the game and once you have it is an extremely fun game to play. It is a very original fighting game that will provide hours of fun both in single and multiplayer mode. The game does have it's drawbacks though mainly that the last three monsters in adventure mode can be too hard with just 3 continues meaning you have to start the adventure again.
Excerpt: Dating back to the 1950s, Godzilla is the undisputed king of movie monsters and a world-renowned icon that may be campy but certainly deserves every ounce of his fame. Japan's Toho Studios has created literally dozens of films to date starring this enormous radioactive lizard. Seeing any of them in this day and age, sometimes it's painfully apparent that proud Godzilla is really just a man in a rubber suit.
Excerpt: If you're a fan of the button mashing multiplayer beat-em-up, then you definitely need to check out Godzilla: Destroy All Monster Melee. Sporting some of the prettiest graphics on the Gamecube, this is a must-play title, if only to spend an evening destroying cities and wreaking havoc. Click here to rampage on.
Pros: ups: Your favorite monsters; destructible cities; great graphics and sound; intense multiplayer action; Melee Mode is a dream come true.
Excerpt: Taking into account only the actual multiplayer gameplay, Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee is possibly the single best four-player fighting game I have ever played. It is more involving than either of the Powerstone titles, more substantial than the Cross Fever mode in Marvel Vs. Capcom, and more satisfying than the Super Smash Bros. games.
