It was a Huge Hit!!!

Overstock
16 September 2006
  • Summary: I debated about buying a pre-played game from overstock .com for a couple of weeks. I finally made the decision to purchase the game for my 7 year-old Nephew. He absolutely loved it! It's one of his favorite games! I knew I could return it if he didn't like it but I felt so good that they shipped it right to him and then he was so thrilled with it I can't tell you how happy that made me!

  • Summary: This is a great game, even though it is a little historically incorrect, but show me a game that isn't. The story line in this game is great in one day you go from being a mild mannered plumber to being a kick ass "Freedom Fighter" all because your country gets invaded and you suffer some grievences.

  • Summary: E.A continue curning out impressive games every month, but this is probably one of the best they ever made. Better than MOH, almost certainly better than FIFA(buy pro evo you fools!!). Never been a fan of EA games but this is perfectly balanced in differculty, as soon as you know what your up to the levels play amazingly. You control your squad with simple commands, which are perfectly suited to the cube pad.

What to do next

M. J. Bonner "johnnybravoesq", amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: Think of a game where you lead and control a team of 12 rebels with levels that interact with each other and throw in a russian invasion. What do you get? Freedom Fighters. Starting as a plumber you fight your way through a chaotic street with Russian choppers buzzing around and civillians running for cover, you have to work your way through a wide range of levels, some you just blast in shooting, some are more stealthy and there's even an assasination mission where you...

brilliant strategy game, yet lacks something

  • Summary: Being a fan of strategy games myself, I enjoy a challenge from time to time, and freedom fighters throws more than the odd curve ball at you. taking control of up to 12 characters within a free roaming shoot em up is not only a novel idea, it is captured as it should be, well! youll often find yourself risking life and limb for your fellow freedom fighters, with its gripping storyline and better than average graphics.
