Excerpt: While this game is a vast improvement on its 2004 counterpart it still leaves a lot to be desired. Certainly when compared to games such as Pro Evolution Soccer 4, the gameplay especially just isn't good enough. *Sound* 5/5 The sound in this game is fantastic. Firstly the crowd noises are very authentic and the commentry is nothing short of world class. The soundtrack is also very good with songs from the likes of New Order, Morrissey and Franz Ferdinand.
Pros: Loads of teams and liscenses, graphics are good
Excerpt: ~Introduction~ It has almost become an addiction now, the yearly ritual of buying and then playing the latest release of FIFA. I have got all of the FIFA titles and there isn't much that I don't know about the games. I always look forward to seeing what new features they have come up with and am keen to try and master them.
Pros: The new features really add something vital to the game and it is a vast improvement on last years release; you can choose from a wide range of teams and leagues in which to play; career mode has been improved and it is a real success
Cons: There haven't been any as yet, so fingers crossed
Summary: EA have been very inconsistent with the Fifa series and if Fifa 2005 is anything like Fifa 2004, then i'm afraid we're in for another disappointment. With the release of Fifa 2003, EA finally started to get things right and we hoped they would continue the trend with Fifa 2004, but this was not to be. My advise is don't pre order. Play the game first and then decide what you think. Don't get carried away with rave reviews from people who haven't even played the game yet.
