This game is OK

"furrybunny", Amazon
29 March 2005
  • Summary: When you want to shoot for the goal, it doesn't have a quick reaction. Apart from that, everything else is OK. Sometimes the computer plays quite hard but not so hard that you can't beat it after some practice.

Fifa 2003, continuing a great series?

Josh, amazon.co.uk
23 September 2004
  • Summary: I remember buying my first every Fifa game. It was Fifa International Soccer in 1994(?) roughly. And when you look at the progress made between that game, and this, you realise how much the new games improve each time. Fifa 2003 is the best in this series of football games so far (I am excluding 2004). I felt that 2002 was a bit of a disaster with annoying traits, and guaranteed scoring angles, but I found this to be a massive improvement.

What an improvement!

Neptunestyle, Amazon
10 January 2003
  • Summary: I've been playing Fifa football games since they first hit the megadrive, and up to a point they were THE defining game of it's genre. But everyone knows that EA got sloppy and The ISS/Pro evo games from Konami gave every footballing gamer what they desired...a game that was fun and realistic. And finally that's what EA seem to have done. Ok, so it's not quite on the same level as Pro Evo on the PS2, but it's a hell of an improvement.

Decent

Mark Kayello, Amazon
20 December 2002
  • Summary: A good game and this time it is a bit more difficult to score goals. You may play as a club or an international team. It is much more realistic than its predecessors. It is a blend of championship manager and a football game. It has lots of cool tricks. It is lots of fun and good to play with a friend.

EA are starting to care about their games.....

"teachittwo", amazon.co.uk
16 December 2002
  • Summary: Well, i rented it on the rumour that EA had finally decided to update the tired old model that has felt the same to play for the last 4 years, 2 matches later and i headed to amazon.co.uk to purchase it double time! For the first time it feels like a i am playing a premiership football match. The passing, one touches and especially the dribbling feel natural and allow you to build up pressure or attack swiftly. The defensive controls are neat too.

Much better than its predecessors !

M. Price, amazon.co.uk
11 November 2002
  • Summary: Well I rented this game last week and got it out several nights on the trot ! I can sure say i am not even a huge soccer game fan but after player Pro Evolution on the PS2 i was converted... The game has got changed controls comapared to the other Fifa games but dont let this put you off as to me they seem better with much more control over what your actually doing in the game. It features pretty menus with well known chart music to boot.
