F-Zero with Motorcycles

soulblud , GameStop

  • Summary: At its heart, that's what it is. However, you race as part of a 2 person team (separately, but you work together). You also have access to weapons to try to eliminate other racers. The tracks are a good length, but there are very few, 11 total. The music is all by the Ministry of Sound, so you're going to be hearing a lot of repetitive house music. Some songs aren't bad, but there's one that just drives me crazy (hey dj, give me a flat b!

A great game

R CLARKE, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: This is a great game from the last generation. I originally owned it for the PS2, but after trading that in for a PS3 I was unable to play it. I was happy to see it's just as good with gamecube controls and the graphics are great for it's age. Unfortunately the seller I bought this from didn't Include the case, which was slightly disappointing.

Extremely Great(Racing)-3

18 April 2007
  • Excerpt: -(Game Information)- Name:Extreme G-3 Published and developed by Acclaim Genre:Futuristic Racing Release Date:May 3, 2002 Age Rating:3+ for mild violence Number Of Players:1-4 Online:No Memory Card Usage:6 blocks -(History)- Acclaim were quite a mixed company. It had many great games, like the original Turok games, Aggressive Inline and Extreme G-3, yet they had some less than stellar games.
  • Pros: Excellent visuals; fitting soundtrack; very fast sense of speed; fast and furious gameplay is fun .
  • Cons: Quite challenging; soundtrack can be repetitive at times; a little lack of modes .

The game is produce by Acclaim who is behind many other great games for example Turok, Shadowman, and their newer series Burnout. XGIII SUPERSONIC MOTORCYCLE RACING!!!!

  • Excerpt: There isnt much here to say really. I f your a fan of the series from the first two titles on the N64..YOU MUST GET THIS....aside from the obvious improved graphics this title is astonishing on the gamecube. The controls are a bit akward but you should be able to in no time get accustomed to controlling your futuristic bike going speeds past the sound barrier!!!
  • Pros: BEST GRAPHICS IN THE SERIES EVER !  even better than the the newest in the series XGRA !  !  !
  • Cons: no online play  and controls are a bit akward could be better

hard, but worth it

  • Summary: This is an exiting game with some amazing sceanery. I think its a good idea to be able to buy new weapons i.e rockets and leeches. The multiplayer is good but 2 player co-operative can get very hard and frustrating. You will find yourself shouting and screaming at the other bikes as they swerve in front of you as they try desperatly to hang on to the lead.

BOOM... You've Broken the Sound Barrier

Rickoss, Ciao
23 October 2002
  • Excerpt: The N64 Extreme G was great; fun, competitive and crazy was what made this game what it is today. But in the two N64 hits, something was missing. Even though racing was very enjoyable, it didn't have sense of speed. Burning down a track at speeds up to 800 miles per hour could easily be mistaken for going shopping with your Grandma. But then when the third addition on a Nintendo console was released, things would change.
  • Pros: Breaking The Speed of Sound
  • Cons: Limited Options
