Excerpt: Do to the fact that this is an old game; I am writing this review just to express my opinion. Up till now, I still play this game and I would not like this review to be neglect because I know it is an old game. Donkey Kong game was one of Nintendo’s first franchises and became a heat in the 16 bits super Nintendo. During the s nes days, I preferred this game to Mario very much.
Pros: GREAT FUN, ADDICTICTIVE IN MULTIPLAYER AND NICE RYTHMES .
Cons: : MIGHT NOT BE LIKED BY EVERY ONE, SOME BONGOS MIGHT COST MONEY .
Excerpt: I purchased my copy of donkey konga several months ago, and it has been excellent value for money and I have had a great deal of enjoyment out of the game, and the rather novel bongo controller! It's been a great icebreaker for parties I've held, and it presents a fun way to kickstart any party. I've played it with my boyfriend, mum, grandad and friends, all of whom have enjoyed the game greatly.
Pros: Great fun gameplay, great for kids parties, good range of difficulties, controller works with dk2
Cons: Very tiring on the hands, hard to maintain for more than an hour
Summary: We bought first the game, without the bongos. Not fun. But when we got the bongos, the entertainment was such fun. My kids loves it. Its perfect for an evening with pints and pizza. My and mye friends hands went red. Recommended!!
Summary: It is a good game loads of fun,it is fun with two people but when the person claps it will go on your drum as well, so if you both have a clap in the same place and they get a bad you will probably get a bad too. You can change the settings but it will stil happen if thy clap loudly. The main problem is that when you play the game for too long time your hands get sore and you have to stop playing (if you can drag your self away,no pain no game!
Excerpt: I've never played a music rhythm game before this and had my reservations as to whether I would like it. Turns out I am hooked and considering on buying the 2nd release as well. It's so different from your typical type of game with no story to follow, no characters to build, no combat system to learn, and no landscape to roam. Instead, we have to bang the bongo's to the sound of music and in time with moving patterns. Simple, yet so addictively fun.
Pros: Simple, Fun, Accessible, Hilarious Multiplayer Action, Bongos are Brilliant
Cons: Poor Graphics, Sub - Standard Mini Games, Not Enough Songs, Noisy
Excerpt: DONKEY KONGA This game is certainly different, and is certainly good fun. When I first saw this I thought that it was a bit plain and not much to do, but I love it with its catchy songs and cleverly placed beats for you to try and get time and time over again. Story DK (Donkey Kong) and his little brother Diddy Kong found some bongos on there walk in the jungle. They were so fascinated by them that they took them back to there grandpas hut.
Excerpt: Since children's TV encouraged us to clap along to "The Wheels on the Bus go round and round" or something of a similar ilk, people across the globe have been keen join in with music using their limbs. Many become musicians, others become drummers (lol), and others simply play on those dance-mat contraptions to little Japanese ditties.
Pros: Addictive fun, a riot in multiplayer, improves rythym
Cons: Additional bongos cost money, maybe not ideal for all, weak minigames
Excerpt: Having owned a Gamecube for quite a few years now, I have gradually built up quite a large selection games. There's your fun kids games for adults too such as Mario Bros, Mario Kart, Luigi's Mansion, there's your more sporty games like Tony Hawk (which I happen to rule at if anyone would like to challenge me!
