Summary: i for one am not a big fan of first person shooters anymore because of games like call of duty because it focuses more on online mp and not storylines and i am a person who plays for storylines and i can say that this game has a great storyline and i played the heck out of it and its fun to go back and play the game with cheats
Summary: I've seen a lot of mixed reviews for this game, but overall I really enjoyed this game when I was younger, and even now. The language in the game can be pretty harsh at times, which can be a good or bad thing depending on the player. The lasting appeal of this game is great. It's pretty much a really fun game to run through when you have not much else to do. Highly recommended.
Summary: This definitely has the feel of Die Hard, even though it's not Bruce Willis providing the voice (whoever does do it does a pretty fair imitation). It has the dodgiest control layout outside of Turok, is insanely difficult in places and will often leave you stumped about how you're supposed to finish a task (very often, pick a wrong choice and you'll have to replay a big chunk of level: have an internet guide to hand).
Die Hard: Vendetta just about manages to rise above mediocrity
17 June 2010
Excerpt: "On first inspection Die Hard Vendetta may seem like another generic, churned out first person shooter based on a film licence. To an extent that description is right, but Die Hard Vendetta also tries to be more than that and just about pulls it off. The plot isn’t based around any of the movies, being set after them, but die hard fans of the movies (bad pun intended) will be pleased to hear you play as John McClane. The plot isn’t bad with plenty ...
Pros: Some innovative features, Makes reasonable use of the Die Hard cast
Cons: Somewhat generic, No multiplayer, Does not stand up to modern First Person Shooters
Excerpt: "...have all seen the numerous Die Hard movies, and (in my opinion at least) they are... quite poor, all having the same storyline where the hero John Mclane saves everyone from a next to impossible situation!! Well guess what, they have decided to bring out a Die Hard game. I was given the game as a gift, and after looking at reviews, i wasn't expecting it to be great, but i turned on and started playing anyway, and believe it or not actually enjoyed ...
Excerpt: "...the form of the original Die Hard storyline but there are one or two odd twists that you wouldn't find in the film. The game itself is a (FPS) or a First Person Shooter. Your tactical awareness and the ability to move around un-noticed are essential to excelling in your role. It's not all about having a powerful gun and knowing how to use it. The graphics are very good and extremely realistic, but many others I have spoken to do say differently. ...
Summary: Die Hard Vendetta can best be described with one word. Mediocre. You play as tough guy cop John McLaine, who seems to foil terrorists for a living. Anyway, John is caught up in a whole lot of trouble when his daughter Lucy is kidnapped by a big bad tycoon and a flushed out Hollywood Star. First of all, the graphics are good, but not great.
