Lets face it; Kart games are just plain fun. And we all know Mario Kart is the best of the best. But back in the PSone day’s two notable contenders were released. Funcom’s Speed Punks and Naughty Dog’s Crash Team Racing. CTR had great tracks, loads of weapons, and a variety of game modes but still feel short of Mario Kart 64. Speed Punks was not very known, but still brought is better reviews from gaming media. Read more
The release of Crash Nitro Kart less than a week before Mario Kart Double Dash!! lands on the GameCube doesn't seem like a coincidence. Crash Nitro Kart may not be biggest kart-racing game for the GameCube, but if you're a kart-racing fan with an Xbox or PlayStation 2, Crash Nitro Kart is the best option to come along in a long while. It's a totally respectable kart-racing game on its own, regardless of how derivative it may be. Read more
What a game! Great game! Fantastic game! Great tracks, nice weapons and cool characters all come together to make this a really great game! Not one of the most realistic games though but you probably guessed that already. The characters are amazing in this game. Not because they are scary or anything, but because they are so funny. Crash Team Racing was my all-time favourite game ever on the PlayStation,my friends and I would play it for hours on end and I had never subscribedto the Mario Kart school of thinking. The weapons in Crash were better,the graphics, the characters....now they bring out this complete load ofrubbish. The graphics are rubbish, it is very difficult to see where youare going on the track, even on a large widescreen tv, it's too dark, theweapons aren't as good. Read more
