Chibi Robo

Gaming Evolution
17 November 2006
  • Conclusion: Chibi-Robo is a game that manages to charm the crap out of you with its cute audio design and vibrant cast of characters. It also manages at times to give off a real sense of accomplishment as you explore each area of the house collecting items and completing quests. Although it isn't the longest or most technologically flashy game out there, Chibi-Robo should at least prove to be a highly entertaining experience for the gamer who's interested.

Game Freaks 365

  • Excerpt: I'll admit it. I was among the large group of people that were skeptical about how Chibi Robo would turn out when I heard about it. Even upon seeing the box art and reading the manual, I was still skeptical about how entertaining Chibi Robo would be. However, despite its overly cute veneer and slow-paced low-action gameplay style, Chibi Robo is a game where those who are willing to give it a try will find that there is much more to it than meets the eye.

  • Excerpt: Leave it to Nintendo to buck trends and go for interactive whimsy instead of guns and gore or cars and carnage, which is exactly what the company has done (again) with Chibi-Robo.

Chibi-Robo

Project COE
7 February 2006
  • Conclusion: The value of the game is fairly decent. Players will more than likely be able to spend at least a good ten hours with the game, giving you lots of time to make people happy and upgrade Chibi. However, the game still has limited replayability, just like with similar games. It’s also on the easy side of things and probably won’t offer a serious challenge to most games.
