Call of Duty: Finest Hour

Gaming Evolution
4 August 2005
  • Conclusion: Despite the fact that the game has little replay value, it is very fun! In fact, it is my favorite WWII shooter to date! The game also presents the average gamer with a great deal of challenge. If you're a WWII buff or just a big FPS fan, go out and buy this game. However, if you're still not sure you'll enjoy Call of Duty: Finest Hour, rent it.

  • Conclusion: THE VERDICT: Call of Duty: Finest Hour is mediocre in virtually ever category. Bland single player gameplay, and run of the mill online options all sewn together by graphics and sound that come in slightly under par of the other war games on the market mean that this one calling is more as a solid rental then anything else.

Call of Duty: Finest Hour Review

GameSpot
18 November 2004
  • Excerpt: The original Call of Duty, released on the PC late last year, distinguished itself as a great first-person shooter, despite the glut of other World War II-themed shooters already on the market at the time. Its intense, well-paced single-player campaign was a great complement to its excellent multiplayer modes. A year later, the franchise finds itself on all three major consoles in an entirely new game called Call of Duty: Finest Hour.
  • Pros: Varied settings to fight in., Online play is smooth.
  • Cons: By-the-numbers campaign., Slowdown during intense moments., Yet another WWII shooter., No split-screen.

Call of Duty: Finest Hour

Nintendofans.de
10 April 2005
  • Pros: hoher Realismus, packende Atmosphäre, herausfordernde Aufgaben, coole Panzerschlachten
  • Cons: teils heftige Bugs, kein Multiplayer

  • Summary: Spieleinfos Entwickler: Spark Unlimited Publisher: Activision Spieleranzahl: 1 Genre: Ego-Shooter Das erste, was man denkt, wenn man Call of Duty Finest Hour spielt, ist wohl: Na das sieht ja aus wie Medal of Honor Frontline! - Mit Recht. Denn Call of Duty versucht da anzusetzten, wo Medal of Honor aufgehört hat. In Call of Duty verschlägt es euch an packende Schauplätze des 2. Weltkrieges.
