Excerpt: Burnout 2 Point of Impact on GameCube. This game supports 2 players in simultaneous gameplay, requires 5 blocks of memory card space and suports 60hz screen display. Purchase. I got this game for under £3 including postage because nobody else bidded on it and I was shocked because it was in near mint condition and is not as freely available but who cares it was a steal in my eyes. First Impressions.
Pros: Lots of game modes and an easy game to play .
Excerpt: Burnout... who has played the original Burnout? well this game is so unlike the original game it's untrue. Burnout 2: Point of Impact takes place in the USA and is actually one of the most intense games that I have ever played on the Gamecube. Ride at speeds over 100mph (on the later cars) and plunge head first into a crash, then watch the debris fly. Drive dangerously to earn boosts to exceed the normal limits of the car and the road.
Pros: Intensive crashes, intense speed, cool cars it's got it all ! !
Cons: None, although not for people who like the "normal" racing games
Summary: Firstly one of the most important things about a racing game before you begin are the asthetics. They are great, the tracks cars and music is all top notch. One quibble i have with the cars is that it is not nessercary to use many that you unlock throughout the game as they have worse acceleration/speed than the one that you've already got. There are only about 4 tracks, but don't be put off by this.
Excerpt: Introduction *************** With burnout 3 not coming to the game cube, this is the best proper racing game available for Nintendo fans. The original burn game is out but I never have played this game. History ******** The burnout series first came to are shores in the early months of 2002. With the sequel coming out a year later, the burnout series are created by Acclaim.
Pros: fast furious and and a improvement from the orginal game .
Cons: the replaying of the crashes can become annoying .
Excerpt: *This is just a pre-cautionary warning to anyone who may not want to read about cars crashing* INTRODUCTION I have had a Nintendo Gamecube for around a year now. The very first game I ever bought for it, was this one 'Burnout 2 - Point of Impact'. I went for this for a couple of reasons. The first being that I love sport video games, especially racing. I had also played the original Burnout game on my friends Gamecube, so I knew that this game was likely to be very good.
Pros: Great gameplay, exciting and gets you on edge
Stock up on the caffeine and sugar, get ready for the drive

Summary: The mighty burnout had all the thrills and excitement that we expected from a arcade racer. But when it was all finished it left us feeling a bit empty, we craved more, but now our prayers have been answered, because Burnout 2 has more of everything. Your mission begins with offensive driving 101, a brief introduction into the world of the road maniac. From there it's straight into the action.
Summary: Ah Burnout 2, whenever you see fast cars and big explosive crashes you think, good god I need that game! Burnout 2 is a thrilling game. When you first fire it up on your gamecube you can almost feel the speed from the game. The handling is sweet as are the graphics. Detailed cars are very realistic. Also the A.I of the computer controled cars is very challenging. The tracks are very well designed so that the most experenced Burnout 2 player can sometimes struggle.
