Bomberman Jetters Review

GameSpot
16 July 2004
  • Excerpt: When Bomberman Generation was released for the GameCube back in the summer of 2001, it's fairly safe to say that the system was in need of a unique offering. The system itself hadn't even been on the market a full year, and the familiar Nintendo faces like Mario, Link, and Samus had not yet made their respective debuts on the system. Enter: Bomberman.

Bomberman Jetters

The Armchair Empire
17 May 2004
  • Conclusion: Each world has a few different levels and a few different bosses. The objective of each level is to navigate your way to the end of the environment. Since the view is an oblique top down view, there is no jumping or twitch reflex challenges. Instead, Max and White Bomber manipulate the environment through their bombs and by stepping on switches to open new environments. To destroy enemies, you basically throw, kick, or place bombs by your enemies.

Game Freaks 365

Of the games I have been waiting for sequels, the Bomberman series is the first to have one. I was shocked, however, when I heard that the sequel was going to be a $20 budget game, and I was slightly worried.
