Amazing action-adventure game

Bill, amazon.co.uk
6 April 2014
  • Summary: Beyond Good and Evil can be likened to a Zelda game. It is quite under appreciated and worth looking into if you like Zelda-esque games. Positives: Great storyline, good graphics (for a gamecube game), great characters, good controls, good combat, plenty of extras and collectables. Negatives: If you don't like action-adventure games, then you might not like it. Definitely worth having a look if you like action-adventure games.

Very good game

Miss Giulia C Primavesi, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: Amazing game for someone into Zelda style games. Easy fighting mechanic but enough of a challenge to be fun. Good puzzles which aren't too difficult but sometimes make you think. Storyline is a little too predictable, though.

NO MANUAL

James O Regan, amazon.co.uk
21 June 2013
  • Summary: Maybe it's a bit picky but I like having the manual and it wasn't stated that it would not be included. Didn't really like the permanent marker on the back of the box either.

A very very good game!

Snowy3, amazon.co.uk
9 July 2008
  • Summary: As others as mentioned this game certainly didnt get the credit it deserved when it was released. It is simply fantastic! a great story line and some great characters!. I love the different types of puzzle (like the security camera ones) as it keeps your interest rather than just tooling around hitting things with your stick. I have just bought this for the second time and am not disappointed. Its a beautiful game - go try it!.

The Good and the Evil

neostrong..., Ciao
21 December 2005
  • Excerpt: Beyond Good and Evil is one of the most thrilling action adventures I have played in a while. The game contains many different forms of game play from great tactical fights to block puzzles, hovercraft races, aircraft dogfights and the best stealth action since Tom Clancy's Splinter cell. Excellent graphics also feature to make this a very gorgeous looking game, which will appeal to many people of different ages.
  • Pros: Great graphics, can feel like a pretty epic game at times, good storyline
  • Cons: Extremely short game and  gets too easy at times

Most under-rated games ever

R. J. Lawes "boots300turbo", amazon.co.uk
24 June 2005
  • Summary: Despite the low number of sales of the game it is a beauty!! The game mixes stealth (not boring, wait-around-for-ages-for-something-to-happen stealth) action, comedy and a well written story, which is aided by excellent voice acting and animation, to bring you an extremely fun and genuinly touching game. The gameplay is excellent and the game also boasts good graphics, an immersive world and many exciting plot twists.

Live it, love it

A. Wasenczuk "speedbird2", amazon.co.uk
17 February 2005
  • Summary: What makes the world worth saving? You live in a lighthouse, you drive a hovercraft and you take photograhps for a living. Pretty cool... except for the army of dim-witted but disturbingly well-armed goons slowly invading your futuristic island paradise. You've been trying to ignore them... until now. As a gamer, you enter the dark world of the Alpha Sections and the DomZ beacuse it's a game.
