Summary: This game is pretty good, especially for people who enjoy the challenge of completing a really tough game. I had a hard time beating it on easy :) This game has really fun gameplay and the sound is decent. However, you cannot customize your character and you are kind of forced to use the dwarf to get through the game. There is many things to do after you beat the game, like extreme mode and the gauntlet.
Summary: I bought this game for gamecube 5 years ago, and even after my gamecube broke this game still sits in my mind as one of the best, most replayable action/adventure/rpg game of its time! For when it was made the graphics are amazing! the combination of magic, archery, and swordsmanship is fantastic! If you have a gamecube or even a ps2 or xbox (the original) pick up a copy of this game! it will surprise you in so many ways!
Summary: This game had many great features to it, but also some drawbacks. The main thing that will catch your attention on this game are the graphics. Sure, it's a Gamecube game, how great could it really look. But it is more about the effects that were used versus the quality of the graphics. The water effect is a good one, along with the fact that when you strike an enemy, you have a chance of causing him to drop his shield or chopping off a limb.
Summary: The game is fun while it lasts choose 3 people with other skills just like the game Diablo games which I love. The story plays really nice too you get to pick what the guy says but overall it's the same story you can't change it. Just a fun hack a slash for 2 players I think it can be boring by yourself that's why I liked Diablo 2 for online part.
Summary: Played before on PS2 - I just really like this game I can bash things to my hearts content - dont have to have a brain like a computer and choose from 20 different weapons - I just be the dwarf and bash things - great game x
Summary: Before we start, nothing can compete against the original Baldurs Gate. But this is a well thought out, if occasionally repetitive, gaming experience. Looks wonderful, but loses a star due to some frame-rate lag in some places. But that doesn't matter, you will be to engrossed in the story. Shame the next one wasn't released on the gamecube. Leaves this a bit open ended.
Summary: This game is great. A very playable game, just run through the very short tutorial and then you're ready to go. The graphics are amazing, and the game play is superb. Role playing games have come to the cube, and this has to be one of the best. I would thoroughly recommend this game to everyone.
Summary: Let's be clear on this. This is NOT like Baldur's Gate for the PC. This game is more reminiscent of Gauntlet in the Arcade. It is however set in the same world, and the enemies which you fight are the same, although of course they are much more realistic now that the game is on a console rather than a 5 year old PC. The object of this game is very similar to the PC versions, in that you have to solve a mystery, which seems to deepen the more you play.
