Summary: The last time I've played this was about 10 years ago. Although, I can clearly recall my experience with the game. As a sister sequel to Pokemon Gold & Pokemon Silver, Pokemon Crystal offers many great improvements such as animated sprites (front sprites), better cell-phone call functions with npc's, and even the choice to choose between male and female gender as the main character!
Summary: This game is one of the best portables games that Nintendo has to offer. Pokemon Crystal lets you play as a Pokemon Trainer, enabling you to catch and train up to 251 Pokemon and is also compatible with other Pokemon games of its time/generation. I would highly recommend this game to a close friend, especially if they want to take a trip back to 2001 and compete with others in the Game Boy Pokemon games!
Summary: Pokemon Crystal Version. Oh, the wondrous Crystal version. I am an avid Pokemon player and this old game is still my favorite. Taking place in the Johto region, it lets me play the Johto AND the Kanto region from Red/Blue/Yellow. It's like two games in one! And it offers many new effects and places that Gold/Silver didn't have to offer. However, the save battery does tend to die after a few years. But it's an easy replacement! I love Pokemon. Especially Crystal.
Summary: Everyone who grew up in the '90s can think fondly back to this on-going series. As the first to feature a female protagonist option I find it invaluable to collect once more. Sadly, some of us lost our original games and, as prices can show, they're in high demand. Nostalgia is key in enjoying the older versions of the series. Not many people can take the non-HD graphics and need to play it on a GBC, GBA, or Gameboy Player (for NGC).
Summary: This game is a classic! It never gets old. Of course, I wish that the graphics are better, but it is an older cartridge made for an older system! One of the highlights of the entire Pokemon series!
Summary: Best pokemon game, in my opinion is a better version of Gold and silver. Thsi isnt like the new messed up looking pokemon that have recently came out, all i can say is if i were offered any pokemon game, this would be it.
Summary: I remember being 11 and thinking i ruled the world with my pokemon silver and my entire collection of shiny pokemon/max stat pokemon with hundreds of hours into the save game. Then crystal came along and i said why not, lets do this, and though it is like the release of yellow (same game with a few tweeks) it kept me entertained with the side plot behind suicune and the battle tower was a blast as i didnt hqave to go through all the work of setting up my n64 and call my...
Summary: Generation 2 is one of my favorite, or THE favorite, generation because: improved graphics that are in colour! 100 new pokemon! And in this version (Crystal) you could choose your own gender! This game will always be, to me, as one of the best in the series!
