A great underrated game for the PSx.
12 April 2013
Summary: Great game, one of my all time favorites on the PSx. As with any PSx game the graphics are showing their age, but honestly, as an avid collector of Playstation games, this is truly an underrated masterpiece, it is the top of it's game as a survival horror/mystery game, and provides scary atmospheres, visuals, creatures, with a delightful, intuitive game play, masterful musical score, and great story line, this game is a must have for PSx collectors.
Summary: The superb Lovecraft love-in Resident Evil? What's that? This is what people might have been saying if it wasn't for AITD. It is the original (and still the scariest) survival horror game, released at a time before that catch phrase was even considered a genre. The game is pseudo3-D, with polygonal characters, menu-based inventory, dramatic, cinematic camera angles, guns and ghouls.
Summary: After playing the Xbox 360 demo version of Alone in the Dark I just have to put it on my 'Must get games for the XB360' list. The demo alone convinced me to buy the full game. Yet, did not have a clue that there was an Alone in the Dark version on the previous generations of gaming systems.
Summary: it looked like an interesting game and it is great! lots of puzzles to solove, hours of interesting solutions and several possible results for each puzzle. if you are a fan of 7th guest you will become a big fan of alone in the dark!
