Summary: Story: This game doesn't have much of a story. There are a few times in the game where you will be dragged into duels based around some of the episodes of the "Duel City Tournament Saga" of Yu-Gi-Oh, but that is about it.
Summary: Now Yugioh started off as a card game, which ultimatly turned into a TV show and then turned into this, Yugioh: World Wide Edition. The game is what you would expect, you batle many fammilar faces in a card battle. So will this game draw you in like the Jar of Greed, or send you packing with the Penquin Soilder? Well there isn't REALLy a story but the foundation is nicely set down, the game takes place in Battle City, and fits nicely into the TV shows timeline to.
Excerpt: "...card game based on the Yu-Gi-Oh manga and anime. It's the sequel to a previous YGO TCG (Trading Card Game) but with updated cards, characters and something resembling a story. It uses the up-to-date rules, and has over 1,000 cards. But it is any good, and can newbies to the colourful Yu-Gi-Oh universe play the game without feeling like a total idiot? Read on... Please. Gameplay Here we go, the part of the review you're actually going to read. ...
Pros: New cards, easy to pick up, import real cards .
Excerpt: "...thing. If you are a Yu-Gi-Oh fan I would advise getting this game in a short period of time. This game is one of those that never ends and can be played non-stop for a while . Heres why : Genre : This game is a strategy game based on the popular yu-gi-oh trading cards . Story : There isn't really a story to this game , basically all dueling . Gameplay : The gameplay is great , you can battle weak duelists such as Tea and Rex Raptor to ...
Pros: Lots of duelists , cards and unlockables
Cons: would be better as an adventure like game like Sacred cards
Summary: As a watcher of the cartoon series, this was my first purchase when buying my GBA. The duelling itself doesn't disappoint but the overall gameplay between duels is boring and repetitive. The so-named passengers with their sometimes inane comments are particularly maddening and their is sometimes no way of avoiding clicking on them in order to move from one area to another within the city.
Summary: No storyline, no platform jumping, no shooting, no puzzles, but if it's red hot Yu-Gi-Oh card battling action you're looking for, there Stairway To The Destined Duel, is just about the most definate game you could wish for. You're job is to create a deck full of vicious monsters, cool magic attacks and sneaky traps and then try to outwit your opponent on the field of battle.
Summary: Ive played the Yu-gi-oh WWE for ages, and i admit its the best version Konami has ever brought out, it uses the characters from the TV show and the set rules from the CCG! The game also follows a proper story alot better than the other versions, i would recomend this version, its gotta be the best yet!
