to the success of the first two Advance games, Nintendo decided to port
the second SNES Mario adventure, Yoshi’s Island to the GBA, as Super
Mario Advance 3. This game, like Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance
2 before it, was a much easier port to the GBA then the first Mario
Summary: Looking to create a fuss in the kingdom, a meddling magikoopa, Kamek, intercepted a stork carrying the Mushroom Kingdom’s newest set of twins. During the heist, Kamek successfully kidnapped one twin; but the other twin accidentally slipped from the stork’s bundle and fell to the ground.

Excerpt: The invitation to write a review of Yoshi's Island is simultaneously heartwarming, because I enjoyed the game, but also unnerving. I've never played the original Yoshi's Island. Nor did I play Yoshi's Story. Nor do I truly remember when Yoshi came into being in the Mario world.
Excerpt: First released on the Super Nintendo in 1996, Yoshi's Island came equipped with the SuperFX 2 chip; the initial model of the FX chip was included in Argonaut's classic Star Fox, and helped the SNES push polygons from the formerly 2D-only machine.
Conclusion: Since I never got threw the Super Nintendo version I am having a blast playing the Gameboy Advance version. This is probably Miyamoto's weirdest and wackiest 2d game and that is really saying a lot.
