The Lord Of The Ring
11 June 2003
Excerpt: The Lord of the Ring name has fast become a quick cash-in for many companies just relying on the name to generate sales despite producing dire products, most notably at the end of last year Universal Interactive had the rights for producing a Fellowship of the Ring game for all major formats,...
Pros: An excellent licence, long lasting, simple gameplay
Excerpt: Lord of the ring, two towers is a role playing game based on the 1st and 2nd lord of the ring movies. At the start of the game you can choose to be any of the nine characters and sometimes within different levels controlling up to nine characters at once.
Pros: Super addictive fun
Cons: A few bugs in the game but not enough to hinder game play
Summary: This game truely is the best game on earth. You can play as Aragorn, Legolas, Gandalf, Frodo or Eoywn. There are over 30 levels per character. If you are a fan of lord of the rings then this is the game for you.
Summary: Like Lord of the Rings? Well, even if if you don't you'll don't you'll love this game, it holds suprising gameplay and a massive lifespan, with 6 characters and over one hundred levels, this is a real treat, and by far the best game on the GBA
Summary: this game was amazing. I was worried about buying it because the first one was not very good but when I began I was totally hooked. It took me ages to work everything out and there are some things that I still can't do yet but that is the fun of this game, you could keep going for ages and not get...
Impressive graphics, smooth gameplay, good characters

Summary: First impressions? very slick, great movie clip intro, very nice graphics, good sound, straight into the action. Lots of orcs to kill, atmospheric scenery & sound, visually very faithful to the films. Then some more orcs to kill, then yet more, then a few more for good measure.
Summary: OK, to start with, the graphics.. they're awful! The little cut scene intro is amazing, ripped straight from the film, the rest of the graphics.. well not so hot. The backgrounds are nice, the character sprites, less so i'm afraid.
Summary: fight through dozens of locations, including cahardas, moria, the east moantins, lothlorien, amon hen, rohan, fangorn, edoras, the gap of rohan, helms deep and moria dephs each of them containing 3-7 levels.play has leagolas, eowyn, aragorn, frodo and gandalf and even gimli in the multiplayer mode.fight enimies...
Summary: the two towers is amazing! legolas is the best and so is aragorn and so is gandalf. frodo is good aswell! this game is a must get! you have to unlock gimli which is really not good, because you can only unlock him on multiplayer!!! urk-hai rule !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Summary: Finally, a game with a massive license is actually good. Very good indeed. In fact, I would go as far as to say you would struggle to find a better action/adventure game on the GBA. Graphicly, its very polished.
