Excellent Graphics

  • Summary: When I bought this game I knew straight away it was going to be much more challenging than Harry Potter etc. Although I say it's hard don't be put off. The graphics are amazings. You can choose from 5 characters to play with: Aragorn, Legolas (his bow's soooo cool. Best weapon!), Gandalf, Frodo and Eeowyn! You are put up uin levels on how well you're doing. Fight orcs, goblins, uruk-hai and loads more. A real fighting game.

  • Summary: this game was amazing. I was worried about buying it because the first one was not very good but when I began I was totally hooked. It took me ages to work everything out and there are some things that I still can't do yet but that is the fun of this game, you could keep going for ages and not get bored! Anyone who hasn't got this, I would definatly recomend it!!!!

  • Summary: Like Lord of the Rings? Well, even if if you don't you'll don't you'll love this game, it holds suprising gameplay and a massive lifespan, with 6 characters and over one hundred levels, this is a real treat, and by far the best game on the GBA

Impressive graphics, smooth gameplay, good characters

  • Summary: First impressions? very slick, great movie clip intro, very nice graphics, good sound, straight into the action. Lots of orcs to kill, atmospheric scenery & sound, visually very faithful to the films. Then some more orcs to kill, then yet more, then a few more for good measure. Don't expect a deep plot here, this is a good old fashioned dungeon bash. If it moves, hack it, zap it, shoot it, and then hack it some more.

"Legolas, what do your Elven eyes see?"

mark langley, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: Lord of the Rings The Two Towers is an amazing RPG, the greatest on the advance. If you played Golden Sun and thought that was an amazing game, your in for the time of your life. The battles are quicker than in Golden Sun, it plays just like an RPG on the computer or PS2, PS1, Gamecube or X-Box. You can be Aragorn, Legolas, Gandalf, Frodo, Eowyn and, if you completed twice with different characters and went on the multiplayer mode, Gimli.

The Lord Of The Ring

vectrex00..., Ciao
11 June 2003
  • Excerpt: The Lord of the Ring name has fast become a quick cash-in for many companies just relying on the name to generate sales despite producing dire products, most notably at the end of last year Universal Interactive had the rights for producing a Fellowship of the Ring game for all major formats, unfortunately they used the potentially excellent license to create an extremely poor game which was clearly rushed on to the market to ensure the game wouldn’t miss the Christmas...
  • Pros: An excellent licence, long lasting, simple gameplay
  • Cons: Repetitive gameplay and levels

The one game to rule them all

poppydogg..., Ciao
3 June 2003
  • Excerpt: Lord of the ring, two towers is a role playing game based on the 1st and 2nd lord of the ring movies. At the start of the game you can choose to be any of the nine characters and sometimes within different levels controlling up to nine characters at once. each of the characters has a different fighting style and uses different weapons, so the game offers more than just a play once and discard package .
  • Pros: Super addictive fun
  • Cons: A few bugs in the game but not enough to hinder game play

Uruk-Hai Attack!

mark langley, amazon.co.uk
20 May 2003
  • Summary: This game truely is the best game on earth. You can play as Aragorn, Legolas, Gandalf, Frodo or Eoywn. There are over 30 levels per character. If you are a fan of lord of the rings then this is the game for you. You fight against orcs, uruk-hai, ringwraiths, wood trolls, cave trolls and even the balrog. You battle in all the main places in both the fellowship of the ring and the two towers. It is the only game that made me play my GBA 24 hours a day.

Surprisingly great

  • Summary: Finally, a game with a massive license is actually good. Very good indeed. In fact, I would go as far as to say you would struggle to find a better action/adventure game on the GBA. Graphicly, its very polished. From the gobsmacking good quality of the movie footage at the beginning of the game to the well animated and detailed sprites of Gandalf & co, Lord of the Rings: Two Towers is a pleasure to look at.
