A Link to the Past remake that is adapted very well.
23 July 2013
Summary: I bought this mostly to own every Zelda game in the timeline, and because this has Four Swords on it, I needed to own it. Unfortunately you can't play the Four Swords game by yourself, which is frustrating. The remake of A Link to the Past is well done, adding a lot of the familiar sound effects from Ocarina to the game that weren't in the original SNES version. Definetely worth owning.
Excerpt: In the land of Hyrule, legends tell of a Golden Power in a place known as the Golden Land, which many aggressively sought to enter, only to never return. One day, evil power began to flow from the Golden Land, so the king commanded seven wise men to seal the gate there. Then a mysterious wizard named Agahnim came to Hyrule, killing the king and making the descendants of the seven wise men vanish one by one.
Summary: Something every collector must own. Trust me on this one. Sure it is still fun to play but it is also important to own. A must buy for collectors even regular fans. Worth it. Just don't pay too much!
Summary: The original SNES version kept us entertained for weeks and months, and the GBA port of "A Link to the Past" is a must, not only for nostalgia but because it is an excellent game, with good music, interesting dungeons, challenging puzzles and creative design. My only gripe with it is the addition of some voice clips, supposedly from the N64 game "Ocarina of Time" (also in the Zelda series), which can be somewhat annoying...
Summary: I Bought this game a few days ago, absalutly love it. PROS: cool graphics, great features, and very fun to play. lots of gameplay as well. if you die you don't have to start over, just from the last saved spot or beginning of dungeon. CONS: it's a little difficult, hard to avoid getting hit and losing life, you loose life fast, easy to die, takes some getting used to the menu and switching equipped items (like bombs, arrows, boomerang, etc.
Summary: Link to the Past. Need i say more? Zelda:Link to the Past is the best Zelda game i have ever played. It is countless hours of fun,and it's cheap. It is the only GBA game i ever play anymore. In Link to the Past, you are trying to rescue the seven princess from Ganon, who has kidnapped them. You traverse the light and dark worlds in search of the crystals that hold the princess. Along the way, you meet people that help you out, and enemys that want to kill you.
Legend of zelda: A Link to the past w/ The Four Swords
8 April 2007
Summary: This game is classic Link. Fun game, i have not been able to play the four swords version, however, since it takes 3 more gameboy advances with the same game to play it. a link to the past, however, is great fun. It is still a bit of a challenge, although i've beat it a couple of times.
Summary: awsome i gotta admit i was reluctant to play my first 2d zelda (past 5 min into it i mean) because all the others you start out being lost and i never got past 5 min in the first one because of that. but here i am half way through saying "2d zelda i hardly know you and for that im sorry". Why? because this catrige is not an ugly duckling cuz it fits right in. great gamplay, puzzles, dungeons everywhere . . . yep its a zelda game.
Summary: Now, I just got a Super Nes for my Birthday. I decided to buy this game because I'm a Zelda fan, and it turned out to be a really good game. It has a nice story, the standard Zelda gameplay, and all the familiar characters. Something a little strange, though, is that this incarnation of Link has purple-pink hair, as opposed to the usual brown or blonde, a la Link's Awakening DX or Ocarina of Time.
