The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (VC) Review

411mania.com
3 May 2009
  • Summary: Do yourself a favor and download this game (assuming you don't already own it). It's great just to have the convenience of not having to dust off the SNES not to mention that it looks pretty good w/the Wii's emulation. At 800 Wii points it's a pretty good deal and you'll find yourself playing this one over and over.

Classic NES Series: Legend of Zelda

Portable Review
23 October 2005
  • Excerpt: Back in the glory days of the Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo launched a slew of titles that would go on to become some of the most well known series in video game existence. The Legend of Zelda is one of the most recognizable series amongst these, and Nintendo has blessed us by bringing us the original once again, and it's every bit as good as we remember it. Sweet Memories... First off, just listening to the opening theme brings a tear to my eye.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past + Four Swords

Project COE
2 December 2002
  • Conclusion: The music is great, and is definitely one of the high points of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Not many can dismiss the arrangement as just average, because they are incredibly good as far as video game music goes. The sound quality on the Game Boy Advance, however, just isn’t as good as the Super Nintendo incarnation. The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords does have some typical rehashed Zelda themes, but that’s to be expected.
