Summary: Personally I have never finished this game, but it is a amazing game for it's era, and I would finish it if i could find my copy. For it's era of the late 80's it's great. The storyline is very in-depth, and is great for that. Kratos would have some valid points if it was that it was made in this era. But a late 80's game isn't going to have as good of sound as our modern games we play today.
Summary: i love this game its based 5000 years after tales of symphonia it might lagg sound not great graphichs ok but reallly reccomend it to tales fans please buy this when you can theres a snes ps1 psp version but its japanese also look for tales of symphonia and all the other tales games there all good some might be better than others but there all goood
Summary: While not as graphically beautiful as say FF on the gba, this First installment of the "Tales of..." series is simply a gem to play. Fast battles, beautiful score this game has everything an rpger could possibly want. Memorable cast and story line this game is a definite keeper. Final Fantasy it may not be, but all in all a great game none the less. Thanks Namco for finally brining this gem ashore.
Summary: To start it off, the "Tales of..." series has been going on in North America since the release of Tales of Destiny. This game came before it actually, and this is the only official release of Tales of Phantasia on North American Shores. The Story is a relatively good length, I'd say about 20-30 hours if you do most of the side quests. It has 3 Major Locations, The Past, The Present, and The Future.
Summary: Well, I have played other Tales games. I wanted to try the original, and a bought one at Gamestop. Pretty cheap, and not that bad of a game either. The Storyline is deep and complex, but the Sounds are sorta crappy. Anyway, the controls makes the game a challenge, making defeating monsters and such forth. The length to me is quite long. I have to admit the graphics are really bad. I am mean really bad. And cooking is really annoying.
Summary: There are now a days Tales of games much better then this one, yet this one beeing the first on of the serie makes him a true classic The story and characters are realy great and the battle system, altough it fells very old now, its also good It as very memorable moments A must have for those who like classics such as Chrono Trigger
Summary: The Tales series is very limited for uk realeses with such classics as Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Vespira but this is the game that started it it all! Story 10/10 Music 8/10 Graphics 9/10 Battle System 10/10 With anime looks this is a must have for rpg fanatics! p.s This game has also turned into a 4 episode anime!
Summary: it s a tales of , a serie that use the same king of fighting system as far as i know, and every tales are quite good to play if you re a fan of rpg game ,u re in for a treat ,this one makes no exeption , the story is classic with some baddies and you re the good guy going for a journey to beat the baddy but trouble ahead when you meet the guy he send you into the past where there s no magic but don t worry you get a way to beat him soon or later , the graphism is typical...
Summary: I was pleased and excited to hear that Tales of Phantasia was finally being released over here on GBA even though it is way past the period for such games. The game does not disappoint with the simple good versus evil theme. Originally on the SNES it was one of the best games out there, with a song, voice actors and amazing graphics.
