Summary: the game is good and has some interesting new feats that the original does not have. however, they really watered down the strength of the storyline by changing some character roles and adding new (and somewhat useless) characters. i think it's interesting to play from the perspective of the female character, and the fighting style is certainly interesting. pretty good for a remake, but definitely does not hold a candle to the original.
Summary: It has good action and look a lot better than the original. The class system is good if you're actually aware of it or how to choose which class you wish to pursue. The forging system (strengthening weapons/armor with fruits and veggies)could probably be better. It was pretty complicated, I mean you have plant a certain mixture of seeds at a specific time to get a specific fruit or veggie gets pretty aggravating (unless you like that stuff, then its more fun than a...
Summary: Brought this game about 1 month ago. It is a nice RPG game. Did not get any instructions with the game but downloaded some from the internet. Get a different weapons that you can use to fight with, but with some enemies you will have to figure out which weapon to use. Still playing the game and liking it so far. If you like RPG try this one out.
Summary: As usual for this series it's simply a rework with a similar beginning, slightly modified story, and a few new names, it's not horribly exciting, but it's a passable RPG with some minorly challenging combat scenes. What it lacks in depth it attempts to make up for in moderately amusing dialog, and it tries a bit too hard.
Summary: While this is not Seiken Densetsu 3 or Secret of Mana, Square still hit it right with this one. It's almost as if keeping the game similar to the games fans want works... This is a remake of an old Gameboy game called Final Fantasy Adventure(which i loved, unfortunately i deleted my awesome save file and never got around to beating it again) Final Fantasy Adventure/Sword of Mana is really the first Seiken Densetsu game then followed by the fan favorite Secret of Mana.
Summary: Sword of Mana was originally released as Final Fantasy Adventure for the original GameBoy. I purchased FFA 10 years ago, and when I heard of the whole "Final Fantasy name sells better" thing, I decided on buying Sword of Mana. Sword of Mana is an adventure game were you take control of either a boy or a girl and try to save the world from an evil that wants the power of the mana tree.
Summary: I searched for a good rpg game for my sister this christmas seeing the graphics i thought it was awesome and guess what it is!!! The story line takes a while to progress and longer cutscenes which you can't skip, and something in the game are time activated such as when you go from screen to screen it changes to dawn, morning, and then mid-day .... ect. it gets a little annoying.
Summary: Storyline was good. Game was a bit linear. The fighting system was great. Woulda been better if it supported the multiplayer feature like Secret of Mana. Overall I'd recommend the game to all Secret/Legend of Mana fans.
