Excerpt: Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation is a high-quality tactical title. Thus it should be no surprise that Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation 2 is just as worthy a prospect for the seeker of a most pleasing GBA tactical title. Certainly the differences between the titles are distinctive and need enumeration, but any players who enjoyed the first will enjoy the second.

Excerpt: The Super Robot Taisen series is possibly the most gargantuan Japanese RPG series that will not be coming out in English anytime soon, barring two exceptions. The reason for this is that these games mix characters from literally dozens of anime series into one fascinating amalgam that unfortunately would be covered by more than one copyright holder in English, and thus create a legal hellhole.
Summary: In this turn based strategy you get to choose between two characters, Ryusei or Kyosuke, which if you choose Ryu, it will play out as seen in the Anime series Super Robot Wars Divine Wars, while Kyosuke follows a slightly different path in the story. At the start of each mission, you get a final chance to load out your PTs (personal trooper AKA mechs), assign any skill points or upgrade your weapons, then you deploy your team.
