Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World
18 February 2010
Summary: I love this game because it reminds me of the old super nintendo game that I had growing up. I think it is a sentimental value thats why I love the game. The cons are that the game is actually harder than the mario brothers ds game my children finding much more difficult and hard to find the secret doors but they love that mario has a horse and can fly in this version of the game, but other than that its ok.
Summary: The game is a remake of the original SNES version. Levels are about the same, but has some tweaks here and there such as added voices. Great game and a retro favorite! (Yes, SNES is already retro!
Summary: Ah, back in the day. Super Mario World was originally packaged with the SNES. Who would have thought so much effort would have gone into a free game? This remake contains all of the original 72 stages. And now, someone using single player mode can actually choose - Mario or Luigi! The two characters now come with their own unique talents. Mario, for example, can stop on a dime, no matter how fast he's run...but he can't jump as high as his brother.
Summary: How can you go wrong with a classic? I didn't want to get an SNES to play the game, so I bought the GBA version. Always loved this game, and this is almost exactly the same as the original. The graphics aren't bad, either.
Summary: the big sized cartrige from the snes has been beaten by the extremely small sized game by the pocket(now believe that size dont matter). I own both games super mario world and super mario world advance and it was very obvious that the revival was killing, the sound is great, almost the same gameplay but the extras made it sweeter and they give you another classic game.
Summary: Defitnly one of the best games to grace the GameBoy Advanced. The super nintendo classic is back and i couldnt be happier to embrace warmnly with my GBA. New moves and fetures such as switching between mario and luigi are now avaliable. The orginal gameplay mechanics were left intect and rightfully so. Though it is a straight port and dosent include any new areas its still a great time. All Mario games are of great quality and this just keeps that tread going.
Summary: I played Mario Advance 2 AKA Mario World.. I think it's a very good game... the best 2d platformer that ever was... Bringing it back on gba was a pretty good move from Nintendo ! I'll be clear .two sections... Good points: -Mario Advance 2 is huge, more than 70 levels, hidden levels and castles.. -A lot of moves.. walking, running, flying, bomb-diving, yoshi- flying,etc.. -a lot of level types, normal, scrolling, underwater, caves, castles, haunted houses , air, etc.
Summary: This game comes across as good or even better than it did on SNES. Sadly, I never owned an SNES(I had a genesis) and had to play this game over all my friends houses. Its great to have it now on my own. Although I'm stuck at one part that is driving me crazy.
