Excerpt: Riddle me this, PR faithful. What game series do you think comes to my mind when I think of the “survival horror” genre? Silent Hill Clock Tower Resident Evil Ghouls ‘n Ghosts The
plot follows the traditional Ghouls 'n Ghosts set up: after questing to
find weapons of white magic, Sir Arthur returns to the castle and his
beloved, the lovely Princess Prin-Prin.
Excerpt: Yes, SG'nG is hard; remarkably difficult, in fact, to the point where it may induce violent tendencies, and if you ever talk with anyone about the classic 2D side-scroller, they'll no doubt curse the game for its brutality, especially if they've finished it.
Excerpt: Our old-school sidescrolling addict, Matt, checks out Capcom's latest revival -- Super Ghouls n' Ghosts recreates the Super NES experience on the Game Boy Advance. For classic, and incredibly difficult, arcade action, you might want to check this one out. After Maximo, how can you resist?
Excerpt: Little did I know the Super moniker attached to Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts alluded to the Super NES release of the game. Ghosts is a classic platform action title where you generally go from left to right, although the level design in Ghosts is immaculate and intensely challenging. Ghosts follows the story of Arthur as he battles through various quests to save a damsel in distress. The game sounds pretty straightforward so far.
Excerpt: Compared with most games currently available on the Game Boy Advance, Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts is like a fish out of water--or a man out of his time. In its original form on the SNES, the game was very difficult to begin with. Most longtime gamers would agree that the average difficulty level of games has dropped since then, and as a result, the extreme difficulty of Super Ghouls 'N Ghost sticks out like a sore thumb in this new GBA port.
Conclusion: Die Punkte werden notiert.
