There is nothing inappropriate or overly violent in the combat system ï¾– you battle monsters in the labyrinth in order to destroy them, and battle opponents in the tournament to win and advance. The stress placed on the importance of preparation and use of tactics and appraising the situation are well done and something that is a refreshing alternative. Your in-game time will total about twenty hours, which is fine by me. It remains blissfully entertaining throughout, which is a product of the localization. Atlus always provides gamers with a very well created localization and Summon Night is no different. The writing is charming, witty, complex and incredibly well done and this is something I wish other companies would learn from (I'm really thinking of Legend of Heroes as I write this passage).
