  • Summary: Added map feature made the game easier to navigate but didn't deter from the challenging game play. Will recommend this seller.

A huge improvement on the previous installment!

  • Summary: This game is brilliant! Although at first glance it looks almost identical to Season of Ice, this game has noted all the flaws from that game, and fixed them in this one. The controls are nice and tight, the difficulty has been evened out, and the game just feels more cartoony and user friendly, without seeming patronising or childish.

  • Excerpt: "This is the sequel to Spyro the Dragon; Season of Ice. This time around the cutie purple dragon, along with his friends, have to find fireflies. I bought this for my daughter, and started playing it when I was ill over the weekend with an ear infection. DD needs to eat more because she doesn't hold the strength to prise the GBA from my desperate grasp. It just shows how this game is suitable for all age groups (or am I just a big kid.... hmmmm....?), ...
  • Pros: Extremely playable, excellent graphics and gameplay
  • Cons: Extremely playable

  • Excerpt: "...played any of the other Spyro games, I certainly enjoyed Spyro 2: Season of flame! Spyro is a small, purple dragon that on return from vacation with his friends finds that neither he nor his fellow dragons can breathe fire anymore. He soon finds that someone has stolen all the fireflies (the source of dragon fire) and it is up to him and his friends to find out why! Find your way through fantastic levels, capturing fireflies, collecting gems ...
  • Pros: Fantastic adventure gameplay !
  • Cons: Extremely hard to put down !

spyro returns with a much better adventure than the first

  • Summary: After playing seasons of Ice, I didn't think they could do any better, but they have. The graphics are much better, theres more characters and the levels are much much better. I thought seasons of Ice was very difficult and I still haven't completed it, even though i got it last year. Seasons of Flame is so much easier and probably more suitable for younger children.

As much fun as before, if not more

Pam RR, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: If you enjoyed Season of Ice, you'll love Season of Flame. Graphics are wonderful and sound is better than Season of ice. Also this time round Spyro has a few more friends to help him out. Although gameplay is similar to Season of Ice, there are a few surprises in store - but find out for yourself, I don't want to spoil your fun! Highly recommended - buy it!
