Spiderman review

Rollo Tomasi, amazon.co.uk
7 June 2009
  • Summary: This game is over-hyped by the critics. Yes it has excellent graphics for the GBA and is better than many superhero games, but its too short, too easy for much of the game and is padded out with annoying scavenger huts. Buy any of the 3 GBA movie based spiderman games to get a better experience.

Good, but short

Ollie Card, Amazon
12 March 2005
  • Summary: Well i have 2 say that this was a fab game, great graphics, lovely animation, many enemies. The only trouble is when you finish the game after about 4 days. When u finally complete Mysterio in a very challenging final fight, nothing happens; u dont unlock anything like harder levels.

"Spider-Man: Mysterio's Menace" on Game Boy Advance

Mark Reece "Markus", Amazon
12 March 2005
  • Summary: Having been a Spider-Man fan for as long as I can remember, this was obviously a game that could not have failed to escape my attention. Mysterio's Menace sees you playing as Spider-Man in an effort to prevent Mysterio: master of illusion from getting up to what he loves best...

  • Summary: This is a wonderful game full of rich and vibrant colours. Each level is full of secrets to reveal, not to mention their size which will have you playing for months. Finding all of the power ups will keep you entranced and entertained.

Remember Shinobi...

Chris Irvine chris@londonglens.com, Amazon
12 March 2005
  • Summary: ...on the old Megadrive or Game Gear? Well essentially that is what we have here with a few add-ons. I've always been a bit of a fan of Spidey's so I was looking forward to playing this wee game quite a bit on my new GB advance.

Another fab old-school scrapper!

Amazon
12 March 2005
  • Summary: I think i will get this one as soon as it comes out as I love this old style gaming! It reminds me much of streets of rage for the megadrive with much better graphics and of course its spiderman which means web-slinging fun and some kick-ass bosses!
