    If a developer were to take a popular license (like Spider-man) and turn it into a generic 2D side scrolling beat-em-up (with a couple of 3D web-slinging bonus rounds), you'd have Spider-man the Movie for GBA. Given the positive reviews for the film and the character's long comic book history, Activision had a real opportunity here to make a serious handheld Spider-man game.
