Summary: Fast paced, fun, beautifully done- everything a sonic game should be. A classic hands down and a must have for the gba. The level design is fantastic, the gameplay is speedy, and its a total blast all around. The chao garden is also a fun bonus. If you get a gba don't miss out on this game!
Summary: This game is nostalgic for me because I remember playing it when I was a kid and having a total blast. This game was right about before when Sonic screwed up. If your a fan of the classic Sonic games I don't really think that you will have any problem with this one. The only downside about it is that it is kinda short but beat the game with all the characters and collect all of the chaos emeralds and you will unlock the special "Moon Zone" stage.
Summary: In my opinion this is the best Sonic game on any of the handheld consoles. Its a must buy if you have a gameboy advance. Its fast paced fun and addictive. Just about everything you'd want from a Sonic game except its to short. Still a great game overall though.
Summary: A really graphically good game, its fun, exciting, thrilling and not farfrom the original mega drive games, or the game cube games. On my newGBASP the colors and everything are awsome, Tails is my favourite with hishigh flying abilities and adventures, Amy is funny, Knuckles is excellentfor smashing and breaking things (mostly rocks) and Sonics super sonicspeed and attacks help you complete the game at super sonic speed. It hasamusing tunes, but not much speech.
Summary: This game marks a return for Sonic for his 10th birthday (has it really been that long!?!) anyway, this game is fast and furious and instantly playable. The great thing about sonic is that it can be enjoyed by adults and children alike. It probably won't take you too long to glide through the levels, but collecting all the chaos emeralds is a much greater challenge! Once you pick this up, there is no going back!
Summary: This is one of the best games for the gbadvance I have played! The gameplay is similar to the old sonic games. The controls are very easy to use. The graphics are brilliant, and are very colourful and lively. The only downside to the main game is that it's a little too short, although, once you've completed the game with one chaaracter, you can try completing the game with 3 others.
Summary: Well i never! who would have thought that Sega's Blue hedgehog would be blazing his way across a Nintendo machine? In Sonic Advnce, you can play as either Sonic or one of his friends Amy, Tails or Knuckles and run, bounce and jump through each stage, all of which have been crafted with typical Sonic Team flair.
Summary: This is a staggeringly good conversion. The graphics and sound bring back fond memories of the MegaDrive/Saturn versions and are a great demonstration of what the GBA is capable of. Full of bright colours, very clear and sharp and some good animation. The gameplay is classic Sonic The Hedgehog (so if you hate it you aren't going to like this!) and it licks along at a fair old pace. There's quite a lot to do, with four playable characters and a lot of levels.
Excerpt: "...you exchange your Chao between Sonic Advance and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle for Nintendo’s splendid GameCube! Cool, or what? Sega have pulled out all the stops- and it shows. Do you remember how tasty the first Sonic was on the Mega Drive? Well, believe it or not, Sonic Advance is even better looking, with more detail and some cool scaling effects. Of course, all the usual levels are there, from the Green Hill Zone- style opener to the super-steep ...
Summary: Graphics: Although they're 2D they are the best graphics I have seen on the GBA. Sound effects: There are lots of great sound effects and 36 different tunes, although sometimes they can be too happy sounding and can gets on your nerves. Gameplay: Plenty of different attacks with plenty of enemies to use them on. You can play as Sonic, Tails,Knuckles or Amy Rose all with their own special attacks and moves.
