Summary: This game is nostalgic for me because I remember playing it when I was a kid and having a total blast. This game was right about before when Sonic screwed up. If your a fan of the classic Sonic games I don't really think that you will have any problem with this one. The only downside about it is that it is kinda short but beat the game with all the characters and collect all of the chaos emeralds and you will unlock the special "Moon Zone" stage.
Summary: In my opinion this is the best Sonic game on any of the handheld consoles. Its a must buy if you have a gameboy advance. Its fast paced fun and addictive. Just about everything you'd want from a Sonic game except its to short. Still a great game overall though.
Summary: Sonic Advance in many ways is a throwback to the old Sonic games on the Sega consoles from generations back, which isn't a bad thing, but it would have to do more to earn this good of a score.
Excerpt: "Back in 2002, Sonic Advance was not only the first Sonic game to ever appear on a Nintendo console, it was also a welcome return to the blue hedgehog's 2D platforming roots. Sonic had been meandering around in 3D adventure games for too long, so it was nice to see him going back to what had made him famous. Available exclusively for the Gameboy Advance (GBA), it was promised as a brand new slice of platforming action, the evolution of earlier classics ...
Pros: No real challenge, looks a bit ugly, won't last long
Cons: Good characters, quite cheap, good for a quick fix
Excerpt: "...am a huge fan of Sonic and his games, and this one brings back memories of some of Sonic's older 2D adventures. Gameplay - 8/10 This game faithful to the original in almost every way. Sonic, Tails and Knuckles all reappear in this game are given virtually the same moves as in Sonic & Knuckles and other Sonic classic (except that Knuckles has not gained a neat swimming ability). Amy Rose is also added to the playable cast, and she actually makes ...

Summary: I find the sonic on sega better than this. On this there is 4 characters sonic, tails, amy rose and Knuckles. The levels are quite easy to start off with but towards the end i have only managed to get through all the stages with Tails. this is because in the water levels you can just fly out of the water but all the other characters drown- even sonic. the extras on this are quite good with time trials and a chao garden.

Summary: While I liked Sonic Adventure I was not very keen on it's sequel or Sonic Heroes. The blue hedgehog and his pals simply do not belong in a 3D world and I was more than eager to get this game as it is a return to good old days of Sonic's previous incarnations on the Genesis. Everything you would have liked about the old Sonic is back. The level designs, the power-ups, the cool music and gameplay that next-gen consoles lacked.
