A cooler schmup

Ironman "Ironman", amazon.co.uk
28 September 2012
  • Summary: Robotech: The Macross Saga (GBA) One man's pleasure another man's frustration. Many people have missed out on this great game. It's no where near as hard as some believe and it has a lot more replay value than many have thought. If you know the Macross / Robotech tv cartoon then you'll see how faithful this game is in graphics, music and characters. You don't need to transform your Veritech so often to play but it's a cool feature nevertheless.

Avebury Ovate, amazon.co.uk
2 February 2003
  • Summary: Fans of the show will recognise the music, mecha, locations and characters in this game. Basically it is an uptodate version of the old classic R Types, a side scrolling shoot 'em up with a spaceship. The game consists of ten levels, two of them with a twist as you get to pilot a destroid on land and the added ability in the flying missions to convert from the veritech into guardian and battloid modes which changes the speed/handling so you too can feel just like your...
