Summary: X-com lite on your handheld, thats the best way to describe this game. If you enjoyed the X-com series this title has a lot to offer. Rebelstar feels and plays very much like the first X-com game "UFO Defense". The good: Overall gameplay is great. Rebelstar is a turned based squad level strategy game. Pitting hapless humans agaist the alien menace. Your squads fight in cities, jungles, and other exotic locations.
Summary: I had to choose the ebay in canada, because this game was not released in europe.and of course, the main reason was the price,I am sure that if it ever released in europe,it cost at least 20 GBP.
Summary: This is based on the old Rebelstar game on the Sinclair Spectrum and is a blast! Turn based strategy game, similar to the X-com games and Lasersquad. nice graphics, cheesy but fun story and really satisfying gameplay. well worth picking up.
Summary: Remember the days of spending hours on end hunched up over your Amiga playing X-Com: The Enemy Unknown? Rebelstar's game designer is the same as the X-Com games, but that isn't to say the game is the same. By way of the plot, zip yourself forward over a hundred years. The Earth has been enslaved by the Arelians, an alien race. When humans reach thirty, they disappear. The main character in the game loses his parents to the Arelians and decides to do something about it...
