Summary: Try telling people that Rayman Adavcne is an almost perfect conversion of the original playstaion platformer, and theyll shake theyre heads in disbelief. But it's true! One one tiny cart lives a game that can trade punches with it's home console counterpart, and still come out on top. The smaller screen may hinder the game in some respects, but what you're looking at is a retina feast.
Summary: I'd never played Rayman before so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. As far as I'm concerned, this is one awesome game. I have quite a few GBA games now but this is one that I keep returning to. There's so much in here to keep you interested and the attention to detail is amazing - just when you think you've got the game sussed, there's always something new popping up! Great graphics, slightly dodgy soundtrack, first-class gameplay. Rayman rules! No arguments!
Summary: Like Super Mario, GT Advance, and Tony Hawks, this was one of those "must have" games at the launch of the GBA. It was a good complement to those other games too, as all four are very different from each other. True, Rayman is a 2-D scrolling platform game, but it feels completely different to Super Mario. It isn't a case of either/or - you can buy both and enjoy them for different reasons.
Summary: Rayman advanced graphics are undebatedly amazing. However the gameplay has quite alot of flaws. The character appears too big in proprtion to the backgrounds and there is little satisfaction from the enemies who seem to have been rushed by the programmers. However im probably just bitter, ive had to stop playing the game because im stuck on a certain level...!
Summary: I have already got this game on Game Boy Color and it is my first GB Advance Game. I was not disappointed, Graphics are colourful, good music, the only criticism is that it only has 3 saves - not enough for a long and involved game like this. Unlike the GB Color version you cannot put in passwords either. But worth it even with these drawback.
Summary: After buying a GBA, you'll want a game that shows of the power of the machine. Rayman is beutiful, and crammed full of detail and top animation. but lets face it, the game's old hat. Its your average platformer that brings nothing new the genre, there is no depth in gameplay, which is basically jumping of that ledge onto this one and like. Fair enough you say, but personally ive had it with these games.
Summary: I got the gameboy advanced as soon as it came out and i wanted a game to show it off with. Rayman is an excellent first game. It is easy to understand and pick up, is great light hearted fun, and will last for a lifetime. Most importantly the graphics show how good the games can really look (unlike super mario). So if your not sure what to buy then get rayman, I can guarantee you will love it.
Summary: This is a great title for the gameboy advance and it is well worth it. The graphics are eye popping to look at (you can even see little butterflies in the backround) With 62 levels and raymans wide range of expressions this deserves to be at the top of your shopping list. Buy! Now!
Summary: What a cracker! This is one of the first games to put the GBA to the test. Being an original GB fan once the advance came out I just had to have it and what better first game to buy than 'Rayman Advance'. It's got the lot game play, graphics, sounds and most importantly longitivity. So... what you waiting for buy it now!!
