  • Excerpt: Due in no small part to its overnight success, analysts began to label Pokémon as a fad, stating that, eventually, the trend would run its course and be forgotten. Despite ridiculous sales, there were more people insulting Nintendo’s cash cow than praising it. Of course, that’s to be expected because as soon as anything becomes “mainstream” and popular, chances are people will flock to beat it down.

  • Excerpt: This game was on display at my local Circuit City and I must confess, I got hooked on it right then and there. I like the \'pick up and play factor\' of this game. Unlike other Pokemon titles, this is not an RPG, but a pinball game. Your goal is to capture Pokemon, get a high score, and have fun!

  • Excerpt: doesn’t have much in the way of Poképorn – God did create the Internet for a reason, after all. However, with this game, Nintendo shows that the longtime arcade pastime is still a viable option for current systems as long as it’s tailored for the home. By combining the wonderful adventure elements of Pokémon with simple ball-and-paddle mechanics, the developers have created a fun and genuinely engaging handheld version of pinball.
