Features

The Pokémon Emerald is a console role playing game. The main character is Pikachu Pokémon. The game takes place over land and sea. Players play the role of a Pokémon trainer. Pokémon are creatures who live in harmony with humans. Players need to collect, trade and battle Pokémon and stop Team Magma and Team Aqua from expanding and take over the world of Hoenn. At the beginning of the game, there are three choices of Pokémon for player, Trecko, the grass Pokémon with the ability of “Overgrow”, Mudkip, the water Pokémon with the ability of “Torrent” and Torchic the fire Pokémon with the ability of “Blaze”. Players have to walk pass land, going from town to town, using their skills to capture Pokémon in the wild to do bidding against other Pokémon trainers. Successful battles between Pokémon will strengthen the creatures and more powerful with the increasing of level. Players can own up to six different Pokémon and each can have up to four different moves, which can be offensive or defensive and can range from straightforward melee attacks to projectile attacks to even crazy psychic blasts. Players challenge the town's Pokémon Gym leader to earn a badge which holds abilities. By collecting eight gym badges, players will earn Pokémon Master Title.
