Metroid Fusion

Chas Tidswell, amazon.co.uk
17 May 2014
  • Summary: Good game but dated by todays standards. Games change so fast in terms of programming. Worth a visit for dare I say....retro gaming.

Not quite as described

Alex Radke, amazon.co.uk
30 January 2014
  • Summary: It was delivered a few days later than expected, but that wasn't a big deal. The game works perfectly, but the sticker on the cartridge isn't the original one, is low quality, and is stretched - in fact it's the box art from the front of the packaging, repurposed.

  • Summary: Samus's battle against the SA-X allows for a world of fresh and interesting challenges all in 32-bit glory. A seriously well polished game.

  • Summary: My favourite game of all time. I can't fault a single aspect of this masterpiece. A brilliant example of pixel gaming, and the pinnacle of 2D Metroid games.

Brilliant

Robert Palmer, amazon.co.uk
12 February 2013
  • Summary: I loved this game when I was younger, and replaying it now I see why. If you're a fan of exploration, puzzle-solving or side-scroller games, I'd definitely recommend at least giving Metroid Fusion a look, if not a buy. Can't recommend it enough.

An absolute gem.

Pip Macmillian "Divine Bovine", amazon.co.uk
13 November 2012
  • Summary: Metroid Fusion is one of the long line of brilliant games made by developer Intelligent Systems, who made not only the classic Super Metroid, but are responsible for the Fire Emblem, Wario Ware, Paper Mario and Advance Wars series. Ten years on, and it hasn't aged a drop.

A Blast From The Past...I Mean The Future...I Mean, Uh...

Matthew Stoneman "90's Guy", amazon.co.uk
7 June 2012
  • Summary: Some games are as easy as pie and some are as tough as iron girders. But very rarely does a game get the difficulty pitch just perfect: starting off easy, then gradually narrowing the margin for error before testing the gamer's skill to the max right at the end.

Memories of a distant era ...2D

Kman, amazon.co.uk
20 May 2012
  • Summary: Metroid Fusion is probably the last 2D Metroid Game, well except Zero Mission which is a remake of the first one but still 2D Metroid goes out with a bang!!! In terms of controls the game play smoothly and you can move Samus to where you want to move her.
