Megaman Zero

Portable Review
23 October 2005
  • Excerpt: Let’s face it folks, lately, most platformers bearing the title "Megaman" in them have been lackluster. The last 3 Megaman games I’ve played are Megaman Legends (the only good thing about this game is the final boss and some of the music), Megaman X5 (avoid this like you would the plague), and Megaman: Network Transmission (mediocre at best).

  • Pros: Art style, Character design, Cyber-Elf system, Far better storyline than usual for the series, Level design, Weapon system
  • Cons: Finding energy pellets for the Cyber-Elves can get very tedious at times, The default control layout is not really the most intuitive one available, The music could have been better

Mega Man Zero

Project COE
11 September 2002
  • Conclusion: All in all, Mega Man Zero is a great game. There’s not much to complain about other than some technical issues, and really, the Mega Man formula works great on a handheld title. The portable factor makes this game even more irresistible, because the classic run-and-gun action of the Mega Man games is usually pretty tempting on consoles as it is. The classic feel is there, and thankfully, some tweaks have been made to give a new experience this time around.

Mega Man Zero

  • Pros: altes Spielprinzip, viele Features, sehr gute Steuerung
  • Cons: nur in Englisch, sehr hoher Schwierigkeitsgrad
