  • Excerpt: So, regardless of how you feel regarding Capcom's treatment of their mascot over the last decade and a half, any game that promises to introduce new concepts to the old formula of killing baddies and collecting their powers should be an exciting endeavor.

Mega Man Zero

Game Over Online
29 October 2002
  • Excerpt: It is often daunting to a critic when he or she is unknowingly given the task to review a title from a solid and expansive franchise. My last Mega Man game was when they still used numbers - low numbers at that. It is for this reason I will confess from the very beginning that I know very little of what is to be expected from this or any Mega Man game, other than the traditional blaster, boss battles and platform level design.

Mega Man Zero

Project COE
11 September 2002
  • Conclusion: All in all, Mega Man Zero is a great game. There’s not much to complain about other than some technical issues, and really, the Mega Man formula works great on a handheld title. The portable factor makes this game even more irresistible, because the classic run-and-gun action of the Mega Man games is usually pretty tempting on consoles as it is. The classic feel is there, and thankfully, some tweaks have been made to give a new experience this time around.

Mega Man Zero

  • Pros: altes Spielprinzip, viele Features, sehr gute Steuerung
  • Cons: nur in Englisch, sehr hoher Schwierigkeitsgrad
