Forget this games potential, the fact is it's poor.

  • Summary: I got this game on the basis of online reviews, and I have to say, that no matter good an idea it was, the flaws are huge and ruin it completely. This isn't a game with a few problems that you can ignore, it's plain bad because of them.

  • Summary: ...high powered weapons and the usual Bullet Time feature. Both ofthese have been brought to the GBA version excellently, with the abilityto slow-mo blood splatter walls looking impressive. And yes, there is theoption to turn off the gore.

Not enough of a good thing

  • Summary: An exciting and violent shoot-'em-up. Good graphics and gameplay make Max Payne an addictive game. I was disappointed to finish the game so quickly, but relieved when two "new" adventures were offered as a reward.

  • Summary: Some of the reviews complain of little bits and pieces, but I haven't found anything which actually dented my enjoyment of this game. The graphics and gameplay are solid, the soundtrack good - it still packs a similar punch to the PC version, although allowances have to be made for the port.
