  • Summary: Mario and Luigi Superstar saga is a fabulous Gameboy Advance game, and is one of my favorites. The two Italian siblings have traded their platforming adventures for turn based pandemonium, and boy does it work out well.
  • Pros: Amazing visuals, Engaging story, Epic boss fights, Addictive gameplay, Innovative concepts, Just plain fun

  • Conclusion: im a good part of the way through this game right now, and i think the mini games and constant switching of mechanics is a real asset. the plot is decent, but the battles are mostly too easy, so it relies on jumping rope etc to keep me playing.

Review – Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga

  • Conclusion: I also agree on your take that mini-games should be integral to the main game. Think Resident Evil 4 and the aforementioned Shenmue (which was awesome, by the way). I can’t stand it when games just break from the established gameplay to load up a mini-game that has nothing to do with anything.

  • Summary: I find mario and luigi most entertaining. While nintendo makes the story a little corny don't judge the game by that. The story goes that peach has her voice stolen by Cackelta, an evil witch of the bean kingdom.

  • Summary: Unlike other people who have posted reviews, I simply did not like this game. When I purchased it, there was a choice between Mario Advance, and Superstar Saga - I chose wrongly. Here why: 1. Controlling 2 characters - I thought this was quite a novel idea when I saw it.
