Summary: I had played both KH 1 & 2 but playing this game is dissapointing. It was hard to get used to the card system and when I thought I was going to get used to, they make it harder. The game itself, great idea, but battle system sucks.
Summary: Kingdom hearts games are usualy fun, easy to catch on to, and never feel like a chore. Sadly, Chain of Memories dosen't hit any of these targets. Its gameplay is so into "cards", which gets real annoying, real fast. You have to use cards to open doors, attack, etc. which makes this game boring after a while. It has a huge difficulty level too, which keeps you stuck in a world for days before you venture into a new one.
Summary: When I found out about this game, I was really excited. I had already played through the first and second Kingdom Hearts and they were a lot of fun. I went to Gamestop and purchased this game. As soon as I got into my mom's van, I turned the game on and started playing on my DS. The opening clip was completely amazing for a gameboy game and quickly got my interest, despite the rough sounding music. From there I was really disappointed.
Summary: This game was weird. I didn't like the whole card-battle style. It just made things more complicated. The only reason I kept playing was for the story. The new characers that were added where perhaps the strangest I have ever seen (except for Axel. He's cool) I especially disliked Namine. A swing and miss for me.
Summary: How good is this game really depends what you're playing. First you play the game as Sora and then as Riku.. While the graphics are amazing for Game Boy Advanced, especially the beginning movie and the ending movie, there are some flaws in the Sora game. First the storyline is very repetitive. All Sora does is go from world to world and meet the characters he already met in some strange situations. The storyline sin't as good as the orignal Kingdom Hearts.
Summary: Final fantasy and disney, they seem like gasoline and fire mixed together at sight, but once I picked up this game, oh gawd was i wrong! when the first Kingdom hearts game came out, i said to myself, "Disney's for little kids!" but then i decided to give Chain of Memories a chance, and wow, what a beautiful storyline, innovative characters, gorgeous CGI movies!(CGI=computer generated Images aka, cutscene).
Excerpt: "...is a part of the Kingdom Hearts series: the RPG game which weaves together both Disney and Final Fantasy characters. When I first got this I was excited (it's a handheld Kingdom Hearts after all) though I knew there might be some changes to the game since the Game Boy Advance wouldn't be able to handle style of gaming and graphics that the PS2 games had. While it deserves its place in the Kingdom Hearts series, I did think there was a lot of near ...
Pros: Soundtrack, character graphics and the storyline .
Cons: Repetitive game play, blocky backgrounds . It's too much like KH1 at first .
