Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town Review
3 August 2005
Excerpt: A more appropriate title for Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town would have been Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town for Girls. In fact, that's exactly what this feminine variation of Friends of Mineral Town was called when it was released in Japan two years ago. This game isn't a sequel. Instead, it takes the original male-oriented game and switches the genders around.
Pros: Grow crops, raise livestock, upgrade house, Plenty to see and do in town, Land a husband and have a baby, Play as a female character
Cons: No different than previous game, Graphics about 2 years behind the curve
Excerpt: You are a girl who is tired of the constant rat race. Day in and day out you drag yourself to your 9 to 5 (or so) job and slave away endlessly. You’re sick, you’re tired, and like a certain sailor with a spinach addiction you’ve had all that you can stand, and can stand no more. Something must be done to escape this endless enslavement to the rat race, but what?
