Not for the over-12s

Amazon
5 February 2006
  • Summary: This is exactly what all of the other reviewers said - too short, too easy and lacks depth. However, and I admit that since I am an adult who also likes the books I made the same mistake, this is not aimed at gamers - except for those who are pre-teen.

This game's really good!

Penny Jagger, Amazon
31 December 2005
  • Summary: This game is really fun to play on - at first you will probabally get stuck on the first level, but once you really get into the game, it will become easier. You play as Harry and you have to complete various tasks such as finding books in the library, spell challanges and flying lessons.

Pretty, but short-lived

K. Ord, Amazon
30 December 2005
  • Summary: This game follows the plot of 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets', so if you've read the book and/or seen the film, you'll find it all quite straightforward - and it's not very difficult anyway.

Good, Not Great.

Amazon
19 November 2005
  • Summary: If you've seen the movie or read the book then you'll know what to expect, flying cars, spells & potions and of course the chamber of secrets. I played this game on the GBA and its not very challenging, I was done within a few hours.

Good but can be annoying

Amazon
2 November 2005
  • Summary: This is a fun game to play but sometimes its design can be annoying. For example, jumping from block to block is very frustrating because of the way the game is layed out. Also after sometime, using the directional buttons becomes a real pain, and you really wish you had a joystick!

  • Summary: I suppose it sould have come to me as little suprise that this spin off would be awful. The game play is short (I started and completed the entire game on a coach journey from London to Swansea).

Great

Ryan-Daniel Chaidh Clifford, Amazon
27 September 2005
  • Summary: Both me and my partner are retro gamers and have no want or need for the "collectors" value.. I brought this with the intention of playing it! Game works perfectly... Came well packaged and arrived in very good time! Nothing like a good throwback!

Magic !

Amazon
23 September 2005
  • Summary: This game is one of the best games I've played and a must for Harry Potter fans. The gameplay is very good and simply exploring the Castle and grounds is enough to keep you entertained for hours. Getting round the castle is made fast and easy unlike the tediosness of the previous Harry Potter game.

29 August 2005
  • Summary: This game is brilliant. It has a lot of challenges in it, Gringotts bank is the first challenge.I found Gringotts to be the most difficult but don't be put off. Diagon Alley was quite easy. When you get into Hogworts there's loads of stuff to do. SO YOU BETTER GET IT!!!!!!!!!!
