is a definite bargain bin game and it’s great. I suggest that everyone
should go out and buy it; now. Buy seven copies and give them to
strangers; it’s that good. Everyone needs Fortress on their game rack
and it’s a must have for any road trip throughout Canada.
Excerpt: I am not sure if I should call this Tetris or war. Fortress is definitely an odd spin on the old Tetris formula. You start by dropping blocks to create a fortress. Instead of eliminating lines, as done in the classic Tetris, assembling a 3 by 2 grouping of 6 blocks will create a solid stone. After completing a predetermined amount of your "Fortress", you will be given a catapult piece. This piece will be used to attack your opponent's fortress.
Excerpt: If you like Tetris, then you'll love this neat twist on the classic game play, yet it's a bit more complicated. The point of the game is to destroy the other person's fortress before they can destroy yours. There are many ways to attack your opponent such as summoning monsters (like pterodactyls, dragons, and giant parrots) to wreak havoc on your enemy's tower. You can also use turrets, and offensive Twerps.
Pros: You can play against your friends blowing up each other's fortress.
Cons: If you accidentally press the L button, it blows up part of your tower.
