The Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is a fantasy turn-based strategy role playing game. The game is set on the continent of Magvel. The plot focuses on the royal twins, Princess Eirika and Prince Ephraim. When the kingdom of Grado suddenly and lays siege on its former allies in the kingdom of Renais, Ephraim and Eirika emerge as the sole survivors. The two of them embark on a quest to muster an army and discover the source of Grado’s treachery. It offers player a different angle on the storyline depending on whose journey is being chosen. As for the major weapons, they follow a rock-paper-scissor’s like affair. The storyline and associated battles are divided into 22 chapters, of which six chapters are different between Eirika’s and Ephraim’s route. There are 28 chapters in total during the main course of the game. It uses a navigable world map which allows players to traverse the world map and have more freedom in choosing how to play the game. Players will combat against monsters. It introduces a branching class-change system in which players are given choice in what type of advanced class a character can turn into. It features a multiplayer Link Arena structured.
