Final Fight One - Finally a politician who is tough on crime

Dentolux, Ciao
14 August 2011
  • Excerpt: "Final Fight is a late eighties arcade side scrolling brawler made by those wonderful chaps at Capcom (or at least wonderful until they became greedy and started to milk consumers for cash by releasing multiple editions of their fighting games within a short period of time.) When you think of classic beat-em-ups Final Fight is right up there with the legendary Double Dragon. My first experience with the Final Fight series was the disappointing port ...
  • Pros: Features all three characters from the arcade, good sized sprites, unloackable extras
  • Cons: Sound effects could be better, some more moves and levels would have been nice

  • Summary: if you are over the age of 25 you'll remember Final fight. This game was VERY big in the arcades. Then it was ported to every console and computer at the time, with varying degrees of success.Fast forward to 2001 ubisoft releaes Final Fight One to the Gameboy Advance. While staying true to the original Final Fight One is it own game in its own right. You can play single or two player (unlike some previous incarnations)from all the characters.

  • Summary: One area in which the GBA excels is in its vast selection of retro games from the 8- and 16-bit eras; Zelda: A Link to the Past, Final Fantasy 1 & 2, all Mario games, Wings and the NES classics range to name but a few. This being the case it was so nice to find out that Final Fight, one of the best scolling beat-em-ups ever, has also been released. The game looks just as good as it ever did and plays just as well too.

Final Fight........number 1?

  • Summary: Although this is a good game, especially fun on those long journeys, i found it quite repetitive. It is a slightly challenging game in some areas and I think it will appeal to most people. Choice of three characters, 6 levels and lots of enemies. Shame 2 games are needed for multiplayer however...

Final Fight One

  • Summary: Final fight one is a great game, like you might have seen in arcades. You walk along a street and beat up street punks, this happens all over the game non-stop. At the end of a level you hit a big boss. Graphics Wise this game is great, It really puts the GBA's power to good use. Longivity: This game... It took me 2 days to complete so its not very good if you want somthing thats gonna last.

  • Summary: Brought to you by Capcom; final fight one is like the original street fighter 2, but just an itty bit worse. The sounds and music are reasonably good and keep you bashing the buttons. Unlike the description says, there are 5 charachters; Guy, Haggar,Cody, alpha Guy and alpha Cody, and they're rock 'ard! You can pick up some cheats, depending on how many enemies you dispose of, like differant clothes, level select and rapid punch mode.

Clean Up The Streets Of Metro City

  • Summary: No, this game isn't about being a refuse collector. This game is excellent! You have to work through six, quite difficult levels to save the Mayor's daughter. You can play the mayor or two other tuff nuts and you have to go out and basically kill anything that moves before it kills you. I personally use Cody because he is the shortest. The gameplay is smooth and fast and the controls respond instantly.

Lads on the town

  • Summary: This is just like the Super Nintendo 16-bit version, but scaled down to fit perfectly in your pocket. I've got to say, if you love the whole Streets of Rage style side-scrolling-beat'em up games, you'll love Final Fight. Final Fight One keeps all the gameplay, and 99% of the graphics intact from the original versions, with only the small Game Boy Advance screen hindering its looks.

Final Fight One la meilleur!

23 May 2003
  • Cons: court
