Summary: The only sports game, if you would like to call it that, I have ever owned on the GBA is Dodge Ball. Since I have to travel ages to get from home in the US to uni in Fife, I decided to purchase FIFA 2004 for GBA since I really enjoyed the version I had on the PC. Although a tad slow at points and though its ratings of the teams are completely different than that of its big brother, the game is fantastically addictive.
Summary: having played fifa on the gamecube, which maintains to improve with each time a new game is released, it has to be said it is being caught up by versions on the GBA. i was surprised to find the quality of the gameplay on the GBA and that it wasnt too far off that on the Gamecube. it would have to be said that even though the detail of the GBA version isnt anywhere near that of its gamecube and PS2 counter parts, i enjoyed playing the game boy advance version more.
Summary: the only other football game i have on the gba is iss, which is still pretty good. i felt the need for an upgrade and fifa 2004 looked the best option and i was certainly not disappointed. the number of different competitions offers variations on the game. the gameplay, although a tad slow, is smooth and realistic with a couple of nice animated touches. The downside, as with all fifa games, it does become fairly easy after a while.
Summary: Fifa make the best football games you can get and Fifa 2004 proves that. Even if on gameboy advance there is no career mode like it has for all of the other consoles you can get it on it is excellent and has almost all of the summer transfers and almost 20 competions to compete in.The best game on the gameboy advance by far,Fifa 2004 is the total football experience!
Summary: After playing 2003 pretty much every day since last christmas its fair to say that I was very much looking forward to this version. My initial impression was dissapointment. the gameplay is slower and the sound seemed really lacklustre. However, a 2 hour train journey, with a link cable and a friend completely changed my mind.
